Kagi Maldives Resort & Spa in North Male’ Atoll has reopened after a short refurbishment. The resort now has a bigger and better spa – Baani Spa – and Wellness Hub, which is one of the largest overwater wellness areas in the Maldives at 1,500 square metres.
The new wellness hub offers a range of treatments to help guests relax and feel refreshed. Some of the special therapies include the Jet Lag Recovery, which helps travellers recover quickly, the Sunburn Soother for skin after sun exposure, and the Baani Secrets, a collection of spa treatments inspired by local traditions.
Along with these treatments, the resort has launched the Baani Wellness Retreat, a multi-day programme for deep relaxation and personal wellness. Guests can choose from three, four, or five-day retreats, each including 90 minutes of personalised treatments designed to suit their own needs.
The wellness programme at the resort is led by Aditi Tandon, a yoga teacher and wellness expert, and Ni Nyoman Saliani (Sally), a spa and wellness professional. Tandon overseas runs activities like sunrise gentle yoga, morning ocean breeze stretches, Pranayama and meditation, and sound journeys to help guests feel calm and relaxed. Sally focuses on bodywork, facials, and holistic therapies, making sure each guest gets care that suits them best.
